Terms and Conditions - Aller travel AS
Last Updated: March 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to all products and services provided by or arranged through Aller travel AS for ARNE & CARLOS Journeys and constitute the entire agreement between Aller travel AS and the customer. Any amendments or waivers must be made in writing.
These Terms and Conditions are drafted in accordance with the Norwegian Package Travel Act (Pakkereiseloven) and applicable Norwegian regulations. Where the law permits contractual deviation, these Terms and Conditions shall govern; non‑waivable provisions of the Package Travel Act and other mandatory consumer protection rules prevail in case of conflict.
1. CONTRACT AND BOOKING
1.1 Contract Formation
Your contract partner is Aller travel AS. When used in this contract, “you” or “customer” means each person whose name appears on the booking confirmation on the tour described in the booking.
When you book travel with us, this contract is regarded as binding once Aller travel AS receives the first payment of deposit. Aller travel AS is then responsible for delivering the products/arrangements you have booked while you are financially responsible for the booking. The moment you make a booking you are confirming that you have the authority to accept these terms and conditions on behalf of yourself and any travel companions. You accept responsibility for payment to us for all customers in your booking. The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that the actual reservation corresponds with the booking made.
As the person making the booking you are also responsible for ensuring that the names on all documents are correct and in accordance with the passports of all customers for whom you are making the booking. As the person making the booking you will also be responsible for ensuring that all travel companions in the booking are kept fully informed of what was booked and any changes that may arise.
1.2 Guaranteed Departure
Each departure is guaranteed from 90 days before departure. Before that date, the departure may be cancelled if minimum participation is not met.
Do not purchase non-refundable or non-changeable flights before the 90-day guarantee date. If you wish to book flights earlier, you must either obtain written confirmation from Aller travel that your departure is guaranteed or purchase flexible/changeable/refundable fares.
Aller travel is not liable for any flight or third‑party costs purchased before the 90‑day guarantee date without such written confirmation.
2. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Except where prohibited by mandatory consumer law in the customer’s country of residence, any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms, any booking or the journey, shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration administered by the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR) under its applicable consumer rules.
The seat of arbitration shall be Oslo, Norway, and the language shall be English. Norwegian law, including the Norwegian Package Travel Act (Pakkereiseloven) where applicable, shall govern.
If arbitration is not enforceable in whole or in part under the mandatory consumer law of the customer’s country of residence, such claims shall be litigated exclusively before the courts of Norway, venue Oslo District Court, and the parties consent to such jurisdiction and venue. Norwegian law, including the Norwegian Package Travel Act (Pakkereiseloven) where applicable, shall govern.
Nothing in these terms affects your non‑waivable statutory consumer rights in your country of residence.

The full and correct price of the trip is given before booking is confirmed, except as set forth below. The tour fare includes all applicable and known taxes, surcharges and government-imposed fees at the time of booking.
5.2 Price Adjustments
Aller travel AS reserves the right to adjust the tour price after booking if there are significant increases in costs outside our control, including but not limited to:
- Fuel surcharges and airline fees
- Government taxes and fees
- Currency exchange rate fluctuations exceeding 5%
- Accommodation or service provider cost increases
Customers will be notified of any price increase at least 20 days before departure. If the total price increase exceeds 8% of the total tour price, the customer has the right to cancel the booking without penalty and receive a full refund of all amounts paid.
Price adjustments may also be made downward if costs decrease, and customers will be credited accordingly.
6. TRAVEL INSURANCE (STRONGLY RECOMMENDED)
Aller travel AS strongly recommends that all participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, interruption, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, baggage loss, and personal liability. Insurance should be purchased no later than at the time of booking to maximize coverage benefits.
Customers are responsible for ensuring their insurance adequately covers all aspects of their journey, including any pre-existing medical conditions, adventure activities, and the full cost of the trip.
Aller travel AS is not liable for any costs, losses, or damages that would have been covered by adequate travel insurance. This includes but is not limited to costs arising from trip cancellation, medical emergencies, lost baggage, flight delays, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Please read the cancellation policy in section 7 carefully, as cancellation fees will apply regardless of the reason for cancellation.
7. CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER
7.1 Right to Cancel
You or anyone in the booking has the right to cancel the booking at any time. All cancellations must be done in writing by the person who has made the booking. The cancellation is effective on the date that Aller travel AS receives the written cancellation request.

• Cancellation up to 91 days before departure - no refund of deposit
• Cancellation 90 - 61 days before departure, 50% of total cost will be charged

You may cancel the package without charge if, at the destination or in its immediate vicinity, there are unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances that significantly affect the performance of the trip or transportation to the destination (e.g., serious safety or health risks, major natural events, or government‑imposed restrictions making the trip substantially different or unsafe).
This right does not apply if such circumstances were generally known, foreseeable, or reasonably expected at the time of booking.

Aller travel AS accepts no liability for any other costs incurred by the customer, including but not limited to non-refundable flights, accommodation, visa fees, or other arrangements made independently by the customer.
Aller travel AS is obliged to notify customers of such cancellation as soon as the decision is made and will endeavor to provide notice earlier than the minimum required timeframes whenever possible.

8.3 Changes to Tour Content or Itinerary
Aller travel AS reserves the right to omit, alter, or curtail any tour excursions or itinerary elements at its sole discretion when necessary for operational, safety, or other valid reasons.
If a change to a tour is minor (of a kind that the customer should reasonably anticipate occasionally occurring, or the occurrence of which is beyond Aller travel AS’s reasonable control), then Aller travel AS shall have no obligation to pay a refund or compensation to the customer. Minor changes include but are not limited to:
